Yeah, a billion dollar company isnt going to go after the sitting guv for cutting their legs out from under them, while a labor shortage is on the horizon?
Disney isnt done trying to control Fla. They are buying politicians as we speak

This is just a preview of FL come 2027. We're going to backslide back to the days of Crist and Scott

Who is in the bullpen strong enough to replace Ron?
Has to be someone with the guts to keep the diseased LA folks out of the state when necessary.

There really isn't much. Nuñez, the Lt Gov is solid and Jay Collins out of the Tampa area is ok.
Unfortunately Wilton Simpson is going to have a ton of money behind him and Kamala Donalds is already getting tards like Luna behind him

I’m going to guess that the Florida GOP is doing this to bow down to farmers in the state.
Bingo.

The legislature is full of moderates

This will not happen. Florida is red and will be for awhile now. Two women democrats just converted to Republican and Florida gained two house seats. As long as Florida keeps doing the right thing and sticking to the Common Sense theme Disney will lose with their WOKE narrative.

Sugarcane, citrus and tourism lobbies are very strong in Florida. They need the cheap labor.
Does this mean that the millions of legal immigrants don’t work. Sounds like fear mongering.

But I just read it was Repubs in Fla that are vowing to resist Trump??
Seems like the DIMS just gained a whole lot more than just 2 seats??

Considering that one of the first provisos is making the state Commissioner of Agriculture the state's chief Immigration Officer, I think we all know where this is headed.

I'm not so sure. If Joe Gruters wins the CFO race that means Truelieve will own that office
No doubt Disney is buying up pols prepping for 2027

Should everyone just fall in line and not disagree with anything Trump does?
I’m a bit confused by the thinking on this from this board.

It's probably the tourism industry screaming the loudest about U.S. immigration enforcement.
Somebody has to make the beds, fry the burgers and empty the garbage cans surrounding Disney. That being said, all of that happened before or borders became porous in the late 70's. R's and D's have ignored it for different reasons since then.

You’ll learn one day that most legislatures no matter what color controls they all work together. This is why they hate ppl like Trump and why I support Trump. They are supposed to work for us but work against us.

They said Monday that they didn’t support some of the measures the governor had called for, including imposing criminal penalties against law enforcement officers who didn’t help with deportation efforts or making it more difficult to send money abroad. “President Trump clearly has the situation under control and is leading from the Oval Office,” Albritton said. “I want to be careful not to undermine any of President Trump’s plan. I won’t stand for that.”

This shines a light on what we already knew; big business wants a slave class to help their bottom line.
Once again, it's all about the almighty dollar.
Profits > Our best interests.

Really? Has it even had a hearing yet? Much let get out of committee, pass the house and do the same in the other side?
Or maybe everyone can just stop doomscrolling.
