That's because Trump's financial problems were well documented (by him and the media) during that 10 year period, and was only "news" to dim bulbs like Don Lemon and Erin Burnett at CNN.

Because...
1) They were from years that were more than 2 decades before he was elected - no politician has ever given out returns that are 2 decades old
2) A tax return, by itself, doesn't tell you much. A tax transcript tells you even less.
3) Everyone knew he had financial issues
4) Most intelligent people understand the concept of depreciation, and how it can, for better or for worse, cause a distortion in taxable income or loss.

It was worse than a flop. It caused them to completely out their real reasons for wanting them in the first place.
After 2 years of, "we want to see them to see if he's been a crook!!!!"........once they got them, all they did was run around saying, "OMG, he isn't that great a businessman!!!!"

I mean, anyone with any ounce of intelligence knows the following about Trump:
1) He is worth a lot of money
2) He has had some very good business successes
3) He got a great start in life, being born to a very successful businessman, who paid for him to get the best education, and gave him tremendous amounts of cash and property to start his empire with - and he did a great job multiplying those assets.
4) He eventually inherited more from his father's empire
5) He has had more successes than failures, but no doubt he has had some failures
6) He has never really told us how wealthy he actually is, partially because, while high, it's probably not as high as he wants us to think it is, and because, real estate values can be fickle.
So this stupid tax return transcripts, and anything else they get, won't change any of that, or provide any new information.

Which is why anyone saying they think they're going to find criminality in the returns is either an absurdly bald faced liar or, admitting exceptional stupidity.

I keep looking at the tax forms, looking for that Form 9368R - you know, where you report payments from Russian overlords?

And, of course, the left seems absolutely committed to ignoring that we have a Federal agency in existence that actually is tasked with reviewing returns!
And heck, let's be blunt about it. An agency that the prior admin already demonstrated a willingness to use against its opponents.
I mean, do we really think Obama spied on Trump, but ignored blatantly unethical stuff in his taxes?
