I can't believe any of you think things like this (the professed "plans" and their merits) actually matter. The only thing that matters is messaging, winning, and then consolidating your power. Look around you. What percentage of the nation could read and understand a Dickens novel, the pulp entertainment of the past? You aren't going to win by publishing a list of your policy goals and how you intend to achieve them. Find the message, organize your voters, win power, use your power to gain more power and reduce your enemy's power. That's the only goal. Stop arguing your 13-point econimic plan as if they can even understand it.

This is the path back in 2028…..be up beat about the future and ask why prices aren’t coming down because there aint a lot that can be done about prices and gas because neither are as bad as people pretend. The “economy is bad” is based on feelings, not reality, and it has been since 2022. It is way easier to appeal to feelings that reality…..Trump and MAGA were always about feelings.
The caveat to this is costs for things young families buy…housing, education, childcare and healthcare, are high….and there’s not much that can be done about it.
