There is no way his base was ever going to be MORE motivated to come out and vote for a second term than they were for the first, and the opposition, which was not motivated at all in 2016, is going to be absolutely champing at the bit.
BS!
A lot of Trump supporters didn't vote in the 2016 election because they thought there was no chance Trump was going to win.
Now that Trump is POTUS and Trump supporters are seeing what the Dums and NeverTrumpers have been doing to get him impeached from day one of his presidency, you better believe a lot more Trump supporters will be voting for Trump in 2020.

Yay another single issue voter. That’s what this country needs

This is all I have hope for.
Say you want to do your opponent's main demand, and let the opponent reject that. In not, we're all fricked.

Euros are the original illegal immigrants. These people are returning to their original home. It's like a burglar coming into your home. Takes it over. Then call the cops on you for trespassing.
That's racist BS!
We paid millions of dollars to the Mexican government and eliminated millions of dollars that the Mexican government owed the USA in exchange for the land that was part of Mexico.
However, as usual, racists like you are not interested in the truth.

I’ve said it a dozen times here and I’ll say it again, it’s ballgame if millions of illegals are granted citizenship,

Meh, we know lefty racists like you will lie out of your arse to hide the fact that it is really about "Reconquistar!"

Have no fear. President Trump and his advisers including Steven Miller know exactly what they are doing.
The Dums fell for it hook, line and sinker and already have come out against President Trump's proposal.
Now President Trump looks like the one who is willing to compromise his position on the Dreamers while the Dums look like the ones who are not willing to compromise at all.

Are you that afraid of brown people the 1.3 million more will make that big of a difference? Hmm I wonder what you will be "outraged" about tomorrow.
Just another racist statement about white people by a sore loser lefty.

Yeah I'm sure the 3 year old child who's parents drug them over here and has no family left in Mexico was thinking that whole time, I can't wait to screw the system in the U.S.
Meh, it wasn't just 3 year old children that were illegally brought into the USA.
A lot of those kids were 10 to 16 years old when they were brought into the USA illegally and there is no doubt they knew they were being brought into the USA illegally by whoever brought them.

That many new Dem voters will flip states and we're fricked, wall or no. CITIZENSHIP FOR THESE PEOPLE IS THE DEM END GAME.
No it won't. Unless you are assuming that the program expands way beyond 1.8M of them.
That's at most probably 500K Democratic voters in the whole United States that actually show up to the polls and not for another 10-12 years.
Also, you would have to negate the voters that come through the legal process that would be scaled back under this.

I know plenty of Hispanics. All of them are here legally and are American citizens.
Deport illegals.

They won't be able to become voters for 10 - 12 years. By that time 1.8 million (if it is that many) voters won't be a drop in the bucket.

Some of you radical right wingers are just as bad as the Dems you obsess over.
Stomping your foot into the ground and only wanting things your way doesn’t work in democracy. It’s one of the reasons Obama was such a failure as President.
If you want your wall and reforms you are gonna have to play ball. Or you can cry and nothing will get done.
Hey moron, President Trump played ball with the Dums and just offered a compromise that would allow 1.8 million illegal alien children to stay in the USA and the Dums rejected it.
It's the Dums who won't play ball not President Trump.

Who are you going to get behind since Trump is going to give 1.8 DACA kids citizenship? He is boxing you hard righters in on this one. FYI, I support DACA, vote Republican primarily, am a registered independent, but left the Trump train long ago because he and his family is a criminal enterprise hosed up with Russian money laundering. Where do hard righters go? Honest question.

Meh, the real question is what rock is the Dumocratic Party going to hide under since they made it clear that they are really not interested in compromising on the Dreamer issue?

I’m generally onboard, but if he chooses to push forward with amnesty of any sort, he will not have my support. I do not want my voice and my vote silenced by those who came here illegally have have no legal standing to decide the direction of this country. I’ve said it a dozen times here and I’ll say it again, it’s ballgame if millions of illegals are granted citizenship, and don’t be fooled into believe it will stop at 1.8 million people.
I could live with DACA folks getting permanent work visas/residency but no right to vote unless they go through the legal immigration process or enlist in the military.

I listened yesterday to Mark Levin's opinion.
He was not a Trump supporter during the Presidential campaign and is just freaking out because he can't believe President Trump made his proposal knowing that the Dums would reject it.
Levin is not always right and he is wrong on this one.

you guys are looking at this all wrong
on its face, yes its amnesty for 1.8 m but the .8 was the daca "kids" so it only amnesty for 1 m more then was already being discussed.
now yes that is disturbing to hear until you look at the picture as a whole.
so lets look at whats in the deal:
- greatly reduces the number of legal immigrants coming into the country every year by almost half
- ends chain migration of extended family and limits it to only a spouse of your kids (kinda hard to argue against spouse and kids thing exception)
- completely ends the visa lottery system
- has the full $25 billion in funding for the border wall (which should completely end all illegal immigration)
now dont just get stuck on and freak out over giving amnesty to 1 m in exchange for this deal. if you look at the deal and what it "really" means, the legal immigration is being reduced by more then the 1 m getting amnesty so its a trade off and the net result is less immigrants coming in.
this thing is a good deal if you really look at it and remember its about the best deal you can get and have enough dims vote for it to get it passed.
it still needs to go to the other house and get voted on so more changes might happen, but as-is its a damn good deal, albeit not the best we had hoped for
