I was a big Trump guy and I'm a big DeSantis guy. I would vote for either one of them if they were the Republican candidate. I don't think it's a knock on Trump to say that DeSantis is more polished and a better politician. DeSantis is clearly more polished and a better politician than like 99% of all politicians. And while I am a big fan of trump still and think pretty much everything said about him is stupid the reality is he's old as dirt and that's not a benefit for him as a candidate. Even if he and DeSantis were exactly the same age would be an enormous Factor. If they both run in the primaries I'm going to vote for DeSantis. But on a personal level I also don't care if Trump wins. There's no reason supporters of one to have a problem with supporters of the other.

This. I keep saying this but insecure posters feel they have to trash one in order for the other to stand out.

But I agree with everything you said 100%.

I think trump had great policies and was doing great things but one thing people see are his antics and approach to people. While some of it may be justified, it never came off well and people will always look at trump as a bullying a-hole, which truthfully isn’t wrong. Doesn’t mean I wouldn’t vote for him but I think we have to be honest with ourselves that Trump wouldn’t win a reelection at this point. That’s just my personal opinion on the fact too many moderates hate him and Dems really hate him.

Morons. Republicans love to eat their own trying to become the nominee. That hurts when they advance to the presidential race. They air dirty laundry and accusations and that carries over imo.

I like and support both. Either is a much better option than Dementia Joe.

The problem is Trump supporters might lead us into prolonged democratic control

Trump may be the best thing to ever happen to the democrats once we look at history years from now

And good for him for not doing so. He has a future and Trump does not. Now maybe all the Qanon weirdos will fade back into their flat earth

Trump was a necessary first step. Sooner or later, DeSantis will be necessary too.

Me either but Trump sure is promoting it. He’s already started his ‘% lead’ and ‘false name calling’ rhetoric.

IMO, we have to move on. The dems can’t beat DeSantis.

Agree. I’m still on the fence but leaning. DeSantis for many reasons you cite.

Also learn to use some commas.

Their masters did hype a research war vector into a worldwide pandemic, expand their cheating from 8 cities to 15 states, completely control mainstream messaging and lock down several western nations to see how far their control would go while he was in office; all this while smearing the man from 20 different directions for fixing a country they're trying to destroy.

It was impressive on the global enslavement scale, gotta give them that.

Some of this Trump anger is misplaced, but rightly or wrongly it’s becoming obvious that the country is fatigued with him.
