Damn tech you sho is angry this morning. A dirty bomb delivered by drone is gonna be hard to defend and catastrophic whether they are indoors or out.
I think they should drastically limit the # of attendees and hold in undisclosed location (bunker) somewhere if this really is the threat

I am here now. We were fortunate enough to get tickets but that doesn’t matter since it’s moved inside. Since the changes, we have adjusted our flight to come home early tomorrow to hopefully avoid all the chaos with the weather.
It’s almost like a tailgating atmosphere here.

Windchill in Washington D.C. at 11 am (when the inauguration is scheduled to commence) is going to be 8-12 degrees Fahrenheit. It is going to be nasty, snow today followed by a high of 24 tomorrow that will be falling in the afternoon along with a gusty 15-25 mph north wind. There will be a weather advisory to stay indoors.
It is smart to move it inside.

My guess would be drone threats. My brother has a cheap amazon purchased drone ($99). He can launch it and fly it for a while, then press a button and the thing goes up high and makes a beeline back and lands in the same spot it left from. If it can return like that, a more sophisticated drone can certainly be given the coordinates (like the coordinates of an inauguration stage) to fly directly to. Couple that technology with the kamikaze drones we've seen in videos from Ukraine and there is a huge threat.

No, I think the small crowd explanation is the closest one. There was a big thing about the comparative crowd sizes last time and even though Monday is a holiday, Trump doesn't want the cold to lead to another crowd smaller than Obama's.
