Then why 90 indictments?

Applying pressure seems pretty reasonable, right?

You’re far better off not lying at all. I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a case when aloe didn’t at least partially bite someone in the arse. There are too many ways of getting caught in a lie.

General leftist rule of thumb:

Cops in uniform bad.

Cops in suits or brown shirts good.

I guess. It just seems strange. They clearly aren’t holding back on indictments. Just the indictments of substance. If I were hoping to find collusion, I’d be tired of waiting.

Written communications between STONE and Person 1 and between STONE and Person 2 continued through STONE’s HPSCI testimony. Indeed, on or about September 26, 2017—the day that STONE testified before HPSCI and denied having ever sent or received emails or text messages from Person 2—STONE and Person 2 exchanged over thirty text messages.

That's a really short memory.

He said he talked to them. Clearly wasn’t trying to hide that he communicated. Just the means of communication. An immaterial distinction. One he wouldn’t intentionally make as he had to know they had his phone records.

Process crimes and tax evasion while working with dems. Hardly would satisfy me if I thought there was collusion.

You're probably just a tad impatient.

Come on. Lying about only talking over phone when in reality you were texting. What the hell is the point of not being truthful there?

That’s what is so frustrating. There was zero reason for many of the these people to lie. Their underlying activity was not a big deal nor even close to being illegal.

Many of us on here were trying to find out what Wikileaks had

If I was called to testify in front of congress or mueller, I would without hesitation tell the truth that I tried very hard on twitter, 4chan, etc to find out what the goods were. It wasn’t an illegal act

Martha Stewart was put in prison for saying, "I'm not guilty". And by the same Comey/Mueller group.

Later during his testimony, STONE again falsely denied ever communicating with his intermediary in writing:

Q: So you never communicated with your intermediary in writing in any way?
A: No.
Q: Never emailed him or texted him?
A: He’s not an email guy.
Q: So all your conversations with him were in person or over the phone.
A: Correct.

In truth and in fact, as described above, STONE and Person 2 (who STONE identified to HPSCI as his intermediary) engaged in frequent written communication by email and text message. STONE also engaged in frequent written communication by email and text message with Person 1, who also provided STONE with information regarding Organization 1.

It’s also remarkably bereft of conspiracy charges

It’s almost as if you guys view the mueller probe as a tool to turn public opinion against WH

You don’t care about the substance of the charges. All you care about is that the headlines can read “Charge X against trump guy Y”

True. I once was involved in a grad school experiment on ethnographic statistics. It stressed the importance of documenting data as soon as it happens...not later.

I had a meeting scheduled for Saturday that would involve 4 to 5 hours of discussion. I was instructed to bring a note pad and inconspicuously jot down notes (because I wasn't supposed to be taking notes for this meeting). I took 12 pages of notes.

The next morning my instructions were to write down everything that went on at the meeting. Then, take out my notes and compare. I had forgotten 90% of the issues discussed.

This is why golfers say 'Yep, I shot a 71 on this course last year' when they probably shot a 77 but never kept the score card.

Because he's lied his entire adult life, never having to pay any consequence, so he thought he could get away with it again.
