It's almost like active celebrities will lose jobs for voicing the wrong opinion, but Hollywood has never blackballed anyone for that.

U seem triggered by my opinion because it doesn’t align with urs about potus rolling out his black friends 2 weeks before midterms when he has done all he can to try and erase black accomplishments and celebs like Evander are just being used as props to say oh I have black friends. I don’t care if Evander is conservative or not but he seems to not keep up with things his so called friend is doing to minorities or he just doesn’t care, too many hits to the head can cause that.

Your opinion is a dogshit opinion full of lies and disdain for black people you don't agree with. Stop being retarded.

The few black friends he has are only used as props when he needs messaging to black folks to get something in his best interest, always transactional not genuine

This is hilarious. Who would hang out with trump? Much less an African American.

You want to know why?

Before 2016, Trump wasn't a politician, and there was no mandate from certain political entities as to who could choose to associate with him.

No coincidence, Trump was friends with Jesse Jackson back in the day. And also a LOT of professional athletes, especially boxers (as well as stars associated with the NY teams). And musicians/aspiring music moguls.
Why? Because he was a very successful rich businessman who didn't mind sharing what he found to be keys to his success (for example, Art of the Deal), and a lot of these guys either had some money and wanted to build it, or they wanted to gain his influence on things they pursued.

Go back far enough, and you find video evidence that Oprah and Whoopie loved him. Hollywood liked him, why do you think he was able to get The Apprentice on mainstream tv, on a major network when that was still relevant?

And you see lots of Dem politicians hanging around with him (he was a rich New Yorker, they were traditionally Democrat). The Clintons did.

His ideas didn't change, there's interviews from around the 9/11 timeframe and before where he spelled out a lot of what he's now trying to do. Interestingly enough, in one he was asked about going into politics and he was hesitant- he said he wasn't sure he was ready to deal with the level of personal and family attacks that would surely come about if he moved from being a financier of politicians, to become a more open and active player. He knew then it was all just a game to these people, and he was right. He got older, and I supposed he decided "frick it, nobody else seems to want to fix things, I guess I have to try myself regardless of the hostility".

I find it refreshing to see someone like Holyfield, or Hershel Walker before, who decided to step up and publicly support their friend instead of turning their backs on him.

They’re business partners

Evander is paying for having children out of wedlock, to the tune of 11x’s. His career earnings were north of 250M, he’s fortunate to have a few million left in the bank, especially since at one time he had an estate in Ga. that consisted of hundreds of acres & a 100+ roomed mansion.
