FACT: Leftists want degrowth. It's a waste of time to debate with them like they're just mistaken. They want precisely what's going on economically in this country, and the ones that don't but voted for it are so f'n retarded they're hopeless. We need to move to Plan B.

That is a ridiculous, made up post. I mean the whole exploration/drilling Fact #6 gives it away. No actual, oilfield “worker” would say that - it’s just not how it works.

The only way DEMs can retain power (without cheating) is to have a majority of the voters totally dependent on the government teat. they'd much rather be in total control of a 3rd world country than to have to compete for good ideas in a 1st world country.

All of this is true but here is the REAL problem:
Our fuel industry is not ours. It's made up of dozens of multinational corporations that profit from many countries. They will never say "screw you, OPEC", because OPEC pays a big chunk of their bills.
Other oil producing countries will always have us by the balls as long as this is true.

The argument by the left is just silly. If an oil company is drilling and selling at 60 dollars a barrel....why would they suddenly sit on leases and not drill when its 120 dollars a barrel? Any fool can see that, well not any fool apparently
