So exactly how did he put himself above the constitution?

Sounds reasonable to me. Everything he said was true.

To you, he's a "decent Republican". You'd never vote for anyone to the right of Mao of course, but he's "decent".

You're like the dipshit columnist at mynorthwest.com bemoaning the fact that Republicans don't ever nominate someone worth voting for Governor, even though the State of Washington has voted nothing but Democrat since 1984.

“Put yourself above the constitution”

“It’s his character”

Oh. So there are no concrete examples or facts. Just “his character”.

He can go eat a bag of dicks.

They repeat this like lemmings, but offer no examples.

That's not true. The examples have been discussed ad nauseum, and everyone knows what the main one is - that Trump tried to overturn the election, first by pressuring Pence not to validate the electoral college results, then by organizing a riotous gathering that they think amounted to an insurrection.

You can disagree with them on these points, and I am ambivalent about them, but they are perfectly clear what the examples are.

Tucker Carson said Ryan was not an intelligent individual. Basically calling him a dumb arse.

FIFY.

All Joe Biden and the left had to do to neuter any claim Trump had was to undercut him and call for a full audit themselves.

Frankly if I had won an election, I would call for a full audit myself just to rub it more deeply in my opponents face after it's proven that I won by an even larger margin.

That’s total bullshite.

Trump tried to use the authority he had to force an investigation of fraudulent voting.

Trumps only mistake was not sending in waves of attorneys to sue everyone in the counties where he believed fraud occurred, ala Al Gore.

Let me ask you, if your President and you believe beyond a shadow of a doubt that fraud occurred what course of action do you have?

He is absolutely right.

I agree, now tell us with factual evidence to back the claim that Ryan is eluding too. If he has then I agree but what did Trump do? Guarantee nobody can give a factual evidence because there is nothing he did wtrong.

Yet Marc Elias and an army of Dem attorneys fought any attempt.

I wish someone, anyone would make these TDS people provide specific actions that support their hyperbole. Instead they just allow these people to make blank accusations that are unsubstantiated by fact or can be challenged by facts.

I dislike his politics but I admire his courage. It took guts to stand up to Trump and his mob.

Washington State is smart. I hate to admit it but they're smarter than Ohio voters.

It might be, but they don't think so. And the complaint that they don't ever give any examples is spectacularly wrong. They don't give examples you agree with? Okay, but that is a different allegation, and one you are guilty of as well...from their perspective.

This is how I know that you only care about "team Donkey". Washington State has been rotting over the last 20 years, evidenced by the documentary "Seattle is dying".

We have an attorney general who is not only stupid but evil as well. He has threatened jail time against his political opponents in order to get them to drop out of the gubernatorial race, even going so far as to order the Secretary of State to BREAK THE LAW to support his campaign.

We have the third highest gas prices in the country due to Jay Inslee's fricking stupid policies that added 75 cents per gallon last year. These gas prices are higher than those of HAWAI'I.

We have a mass transit system deliberately designed to attempt to get people out of their cars and on to an unreliable rail system that constantly breaks down instead of improving the highway system with multiple choke points.

We have 34 out of 39 counties that are disenfranchised by 5 counties, to the point where half the state is trying to become part of Idaho.

In 2022, the primary opponent to Jay Inslee's hand-picked candidate for Secretary of State ran on a campaign that the position should not be loyal to any political party...they still voted for a Democrat.

I'm ok with a Democrat being governor that isn't Bob Ferguson. Can you say the same for an individual that's not on "your team"?
