Oh, you mean He who created everything, and He who is the way, the truth and the light?

The only entity that I can recall in the Bible that that was "plural and non-binary" is in Mark, Chapter 5...

quote:

Then Jesus asked him, “What is your name?” “My name is Legion,” he replied, “for we are many.”

So, apparently this self proclaimed, "ordained minister of GOD" actually worships the 2000'ish demons that possessed the man Jesus spoke with and exorcised.

This explanation makes sense.

The only plurality of Almighty GOD is the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. The Blessed Trinity.

Only because I feel compelled to type out another message because maybe someone here needs to read it, there is nothing "PROGRESSIVE" about Christianity. Quite the opposite, in fact. If you feel you have to stray from the teachings of Christ in order to draw people to GOD, you are mistaken. You're drawing them towards Satan. GOD isn't reaching out to the pure hearted believers. They already know Him. GOD is seeking the company of the unclean, the impure, that they might come into His house and His heart, that He might show them the way.

Our job, as believers, is to bring people to GOD.

quote:

And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

Matthew 4:19

Our job is not to decorate the temple with secular graffiti just to entice the wayward to enter. Our job is just to speak, and follow the blueprint towards salvation left by GOD. HE will do the rest.

Didn't the Catholic Church change their creed to make God not have a sex?
It would make sense. We refer to Him as male by longstanding convention, but it is unlikely that a deity has genitalia or engages in sexual reproduction in either a male or female capacity.

That post illustrates your take of many folks posting on this board as 'inbreds and imbeciles.' And your assumption that folks, especially Catholic raised folks in south Louisiana, need from you a definition of the Holy Trinity. By the way I do doubt you have any understanding of that right now with respect to cooking (more than likely will now google, just like doing the same for Hanoi Jane).

You produce the BEST non-sequiturs, my friend.

Inserting Cajun recipes into a religious discussion. Kudos.

Well, He is a Trinity (which means "Three"). So there is that ...
Three distinct persons sharing one essence or nature. That’s why all three have different titles or descriptions as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The Father is not the Son. The Son is not the Spirit. The Spirit is not the Father. There is also only one God, not three gods. The orthodox and biblical view of the Trinity does not allow for plural pronouns.
