I am sure the nomination of Kash Patel had nothing to do with backdating the pardon to '14

The Deep State is alive and well. Trump better destroy it or they will go after his Family when Trump is long gone.

Makes sense.

You can't pardon someone for something they haven't been charged with. So knowing full-well that there's something dating back to 2014 ... they're covering their cartel corrupt asses.

Can you do a general pardon for all potential crimes?

Pretty sure that the SC has found that you can. IIRC the Nixon pardon set the precedent.

That also means Hunter gets away with the child porn on his laptop BTW

Not if they’re state charges.

The states will never get ahold of the laptop. The FBI destroyed it and claimed they lost it.

Gaetz did claim to have a copy of all files and entered them into the record at a hearing, though.

Apparently, now you can.

They just did it.

I feel certain that it'll be tested.

That's incorrect.

There are many tentacles to the racket that is/was Ukraine. Expose it all. The American taxpayers deserve to know what was going on to cause billions and billions to go to that cause. Hunter Biden is just one small piece.

Obviously .... it is now.

But it's never been tried before.

Blanket pardons, especially by Presidents, have never happened. Not even by Gerald Ford after Watergate. They've always been very specific.

Technically, and I'm not a lawyer but, you could issue a blanket pardon for someone from last week until Christmas ... which means that same someone could get away with anything until Santa Clause comes.

Nixon wasn't charged with anything when Ford pardoned him. A grand jury was never convened.
