Doesn’t she also go to Baylor, a conservative Christian based school too?
Waco - home of Dr Pepper.

But then how could there not be an outrage to bitch about? I need my outrage....crave it.

I’d say it’s more of an Alinskyite strategy but I agree with your point it is strategic and methodical.

Clearly by choosing 2 women and each a different race Dr.Pepper wanted to signal theyre all in with the "equity" agenda. Its nice they gave the loser money too, but lets not act like there are any stakes to the game anymore if its clearly manipulated from the very outset.
The people they pick to participate are not random, but handpicked. Just give them the money and spare us the halftime circus.

Should have just given the both the prize when they tied. They can certainly afford it.

She probably would have been elated with $20K for just tossing footballs at a comically large cold drink can. I don’t believe she personally had anything to do with the rule change.
Right. None of my issues with this have to do with the actual participants, because they are likely both very deserving of the $100k, but my issue is with Dr.Pepper marketing who are clearly just using these people for cheap PR.

We all called this the moment it happened
Few minutes after hit up social media and there was the outrage.
Not long after Dr Pepper made their decision forced on them by the mob
Good for the girls but bad on the woke mob
Wonder what dr check would have done.

Remember when Jesse Jackson was hammering Dr Pepper for not having enough blacks in management?
I do.
Hes just an extortionist. He doesn't actually care about black management, he's trying to shame a corporation into coughing up free money.

Meh.
They did a shite job of expressing that the outcome of such a possibility had already been decided prior to the event. When the tie-breaker ended in a tie and the white girl won, you could hear the boos in the stadium because the perception was she was awarded the win only because she was white.
This is a classic case of trying to do the right thing becoming the wrong thing. Dr. Pepper makes BILLIONS per year, it should be a default that if the contestants tie in a tie-breaker then both get the full reward. It's the difference between looking like a company nimble enough to be objectively generous and one just doing PR work.

What do the people of Fansville think about this?

Meh. I was listening in the other room. When I heard they had to go to a second tiebreaker, I was like ”just give both the money” since they are doing this for publicity anyway.
Never saw the race of the contestants.
