Meh. It’s been tough for them but they got a little SS increase a year ago. Aren’t suffering.
I make grocery runs and bring food for them once a week.

Always buy off brand sugar. LSR and ASR make damn near 90% of all domestic cane sugar.

Not a regular for junk food. The drink mix is my morning wake up drink (iced tea). The other stuff stays around my house for a couple of months.

I love all the responses. Just don't buy gv dish soap, don't buy off brand peanut butter. What's true? You have 1 guy saying it's all the same but others saying yeah except for these items. GV stuff is absolute garbage and is not the same as the name brand. Yes, 95% of the item is the same but there is something different. Don't get me wrong I'll buy lots of off brand stuff but I'll never buy great value or cloverfield/land (family dollar brand) stuff.

It’s on the political board because “Politics” are the reason the “Richest and Greatest and freest country in the history of the world” is causing a lot of people to have to live shitty lives because pay sucks and everything is expensive - because of 100% Politics decisions they have made over the years.
