I am a never Trumper and I loved this speech!

I loathe Twitter Donnie but tonight President Trump showed up and i enjoyed this speech. There where parts i thought were overkill but he made both sides of the isle uncomfortable with his talk of health care cost and that what he needs to do. He started to go at the current abortion issue then turned right away before stepping on the 3rd rail as i call it and moved on. My wife who is very liberal watched the whole speech and commented on how it was a great speech and shed a tear during the happy birthday song. He reminded people we should always be a proud nation for what we have done for the greater good of the world and the innovation at home. I pulled out the work laptop to post from home which i never do .

Ill say this. I understand your sentiment. Many of his tweets can come across as petty and childish. Normally I would not approve of that type of thing either.
That being said, how else would he set the record straight about him with all these fake news sources claiming these awful things? What better, quicker way is there to do that than twitter? So many people believe whatever the media says now that I forgive him for fighting back even when it does come across as petty

A proper SOTU should make us feel good. Its one of his better moments, IMHO. He tends to screw up when he goes "off script" or when he tweets, but this was good.
