Our infrastructure is a total disaster. But at least we are getting our pronouns right.

How is it that there’s so much stress on that beam that it cracks it clean through, but then it doesn’t move an inch after breaking?

Any structural engineers weigh in? Vibration and a flawed beam are all I got. The fact that it’s next to a bracket that likely doesn’t flex might mean vibration?

I like how they just slapped some flat lego pieces on the bridge.

Two thousand rivets

Only four of them actually holding the pieces together

None of them where the bridge broke

Someone dig up the paperwork

It said $5000 per rivet you put in this bridge

That's no crack! That thing is completely severed in two.

Scary thing is that’s not new. The exposed metal along the fracture is rusted.

Why didn't Trump get an infrastructure bill through? He sure as hell campaigned on it.

But it becomes a major news story right in front of the massive "infrastructure" bill.

Curious timing for sure.

To think I just went over this bridge a couple months ago, gives me chills.
