This is a stupid and dishonest answer. You know for a fact that a public hearing is a dog and pony show. 5 minutes for filibustered answers. Other side clouding the show. I am ok with the full transcripts of a behind the door questioning to be released. But if they are truly investigating it should be where they can actually get answers and not a dog and pony show

No. When you testify in a public setting, each member gets 5 minutes. So Biden could say, can you please repeat your question? Then proceed to answer slowly and filibuster.
Public testimony is worthless.
Public testimony is worthless.

The move by House Republicans to only allow him to testify behind closed doors is a pathetic, transparent effort to set him up with controlled, even edited, testimony. Let the guy testify publicly, for Chrissake. Why the hell wouldn’t they?
Whine a little harder.

refusal to comply with a congressional subpoena is made punishable by a fine of up to $1,000 and imprisonment for up to one year.

They did. It's being a Democrat and the son of a corrupt President whose AG loathes congressional Republicans for keeping him off the Supreme Court.

Because that type of hearing only allows 5 minutes of questioning each and does not allow cross examination. There wouldn’t be the opportunity to go into details. That’s why he wants it

I know you're a functional retard, but do you understand the difference between a deposition and public Congressional hearing?
A hearing is, practically, worthless. 5 minutes of questions, lots of dumb commentary from both sides, Hunter just babbling on, saying he doesn't remember things, whatever.
A deposition is a much longer, in-depth questioning without limitations on time.
Comer said he would be happy for Hunter to do both.

Just remember.
“REEE!! IF HE IS INNOCENT…HE NEEDS TO PROVE HIS INNOCENCE IN COURT!!!”
Funny how that programming has suddenly been deleted and replaced.

Smart move by Comer trying for a closed door session.
Smart legal move by Hunter Biden given his indictment.
Dumb move from a PR standpoint and political standpoint by Biden to give the MAGA Republicans a talking point(s)

If he has nothing to hide, he should welcome a chance to testify and clear his name.
The walls are closing in. The walls are closing in on both him and the big guy.

This stunt just shows that there are two tiers of 'justice' and that hunter and his dad are chicken shite Cowards.

That’s the final straw!
There is no way I’m ever voting for Hunter Biden next year after this stunt!
