You don’t know that the entire story is a lie. Some could be true. I’m not saying it’s true or false but it follows with the other business dealings that have been reported.
I’m not here to advocate for the accuracy of the story. There are parts of the story that might not be as accurate as they thought.
What is true and factual is that 1789 is still involved financially with Anduril. That is a problem. Whether it’s for raising of capital or direct investment- it’s a problem.
Again, not saying that this story is 100% true. Parts of it certainly are true though. There are other companies which you and others choose to ignore. Why is that?

There’s no doubt that 1789 is involved with Anduril. There’s no doubt that Anduril have substantial government contracts. There’s no doubt that DJTjr is involved with 1789. This is something that should be alarming to people but just like most partisans, they parse their outrage based on who’s in office. Integrity is gone and the bar gets lowered on what is acceptable. People just turn their head because its being done by their team.

E.g., I'm also "involved" in APPL, SPCX, GS, etc.
I am not "involved" in the 1789 fund, as you say DonJr and/or Eric are.
Then again, as it's down nearly 3% on the year, I'm glad I'm not.

DJTjr is a partner with 1789 which has either investment or helped financing for Anduril (or both) which happens to have government military contracts…. The concern is that through this connection, Anduril gets favored treatment. Imagine being another shipyard or military contractor that has isn’t affiliated either DJTjr or other Trumps. It wouldn’t feel so great. You’d be skeptical.
If this were the case for any other president, it’d be outrageous to you and others but since it’s Trump, it gets downplayed as irrelevant.
