Poland doesn't take them either and is more prosperous than Hingary, Lots of manufacturing has moved to Poland from elsewhere in the EU None are moving to Hungary.

“Magyars forever”
My grandfather immigrated to the USA through Ellis Island when he was 2 years old. Szucs was his last name when he left Hungary. Of course, the spelling was changed when they completed the paperwork.
Szucs (or Szucs) is a common Hungarian surname meaning "furrier" or "fur trader," an occupational name from the Hungarian word szucs.
He grew up to be a machinest and owned a foundry. His business cards all had Magyar Hungarian printed on them. Very proud of his Hungarian heritage.
