The DNC goon squad needs to have to pay big bucks for wantonly violating so many people's rights. It's like the haven't even read the Forth Amendment.

About 300 people are contesting the seizure of their money and valuables by the FBI after the agency failed to produce evidence of criminal wrongdoing, the Los Angeles Times reported.

The FBI doesn’t give a shite.

Anything returned will be destroyed out of spite under the auspices of “searching for evidence of drug dealing and money laundering.”

Every agent involved needs to be charged with grand theft, placed in solitary confinement and beaten, just like how the feds treat the 1/6 protesters

The FBI claimed the $57,000 they took from Ruiz was too much for him to have accumulated from his income and that a dog had smelled unspecified drugs on his cash, the LA Times reported. The agency said there was “probable cause” the money came from drug trafficking.

What a joke.

The fricking feds know damn well the money laundering is done at Wells Fargo and HSBC (allegedly) and not in personal safe boxes. These Feds are just harassing people.

Trump should have ended civil forfeiture, instead he expanded it.

i'm impressed they were able to pull off this raid so quickly in LA after their sting operation the other day in Washington.

“That’s federal property. This isn’t. This is LA. This is my town. Out here you are a trespasser.

Out here, I can pick you up, burn your home, frick your wife, and kill your dog. And the only thing that can protect you is if I can’t find you. And I’ve already found you.” - Lt Max Hoover, LAPD

I am bettting this was cash earned in the legal (at the state level) weed business in California which is illegal at the federal level.

If that is the case they will not be seeing that money anytime soon.

Stats from 30+ years ago pretty much stated that an overwhelming amount of cash has trace amounts of drugs like cocaine on it.

Everyone knows it and that is why the feds go straight for cash when it comes to seizing it, as it is easy to claim and you have to put up 10% of the amount involved to contest the seizure.

Burden of proof is still on the feds here IMHO.

They got their warrant under strictly dictated circumstances and blew through them to seize everything involved.

Violating the warrant should make this fruit of the poisoned tree.

I’ve forgotten the exact percentage, but in the 80’s I remember a report say the majority of the hundred dollar bills in circulation had coke residue on them.
