IMO, jobs numbers are going to be worse and worse from now until the end of time. People can pretend that AI is not a threat to jobs, but it is already replacing most of the entry level corporate jobs.

This sounds like a Bidenflation post

Biden couldn't cut spending if his life depended on it, but this specific issue stretches well beyond him. It goes back to Obama's handling of the GFC, how both of his predecessors have also allowed spending to be guided by CRs rather than demanding a budget, how Congress has continued to dogpile onto deficit spending and how the Fed has gone along with it by making sure they keep auctions from failing.

Economist Magazine called our economy the “envy of the world” in October of 2024. A hyper manic tariff policy based on lies and a renewed interest in meddling across the globe has turned that around in record time.

We’re heading in the direction of his 6 Casinos, the Trump shuttle, Trump Mortgage, Trump University, Trump Vodka, Trump Steaks, The Trump Network, gotrump.com, the Trump bike race, etc. Everything thing he’s ever touch has turned to shite.

We are demonstrably in a worse position than when Obama started.

It took a while for Hercules to clean out the Aegean stables, too.

You make this claim yet provide no actual evidence.

It's weird that you started with the above premise, which supported the other poster's comment, and yet came to this conclusion:

and still kicking

5 years of Trump has us barely hanging on. We need at least 20 more years of conservative leadership to course correct. Also need the GOP to have supermajorities in both houses of Congress for at least part of that.

Remove them and it's still a terrible revision. It's still in the negative by tens of thousands and was supposed to be like 50k positive.

30k* (healthcare jobs actually increased overall if you add in the striking workers)

And 10k of the losses are government jobs, which are actually gains for the economy.

The rhetoric still matches the blame of Biden exclusively for all the inflation (which I did not do and I specifically did not blame Trump exclusively for this economy).

Trump has also been a HUGE contributor to the printing-spending problem. His 4 years without Covid continued the trends we saw under Obama and then he added trillions of spending in 2020 on top of that. We didn't do much/any better last year, either. So it's not exclusively him to blame in any way, but he's a cog in the machine and a bigger one than anyone not names Joe Biden. Then Obama, then GWB, then Reagan.

And our spending is bad, yes, but we're still in the best position all around in the world. That's not the reason for this jobs report, directly. This is still stuff that's been brewing since 2008 that we never fully realized.
