There was zero traffic on my morning commute! Made it to work in less than 10 minutes after a busy morning at home

Doing pretty good... I just found out that my mortgage company is sending me a check for the surplus in my escrow account.. And my monthly payment is going down.. That hasn't happened in many years..

Three weeks ago I was a summoned for jury duty, made the jury and was elected jury foreman for a murder trial. We put the bastard away for a very long time yesterday afternoon.
Two weeks ago my step mother was tested for Parkinson’s and she had a trip to the ER for heart palpitations and other stuff. She was held overnight for observation.
Last night we took our dog to the vet where we received bad news. We’re very likely to put her down within the next week. She’s a pure bred tri color short hair border collie. Great dog, a very good girl.
It’s been a rocky month for sure but it’s a new day with new opportunities and I’m thankful for that.
Then I heard about some elections back east yesterday…
