This morning is a little more special than the usual.

Sounds like a good start to the day.

Doing pretty good... I just found out that my mortgage company is sending me a check for the surplus in my escrow account.. And my monthly payment is going down.. That hasn't happened in many years..

Now that sounds like good news!

Sorry to hear about some not-so-good news.

Last night we took our dog to the vet where we received bad news. We’re very likely to put her down within the next week. She’s a pure bred tri color short hair border collie. Great dog, a very good girl.

We had to relieve our cocker spaniel from her suffering last week. She had lymphoma.

More like principles than rules; not that it matters.

And one is trying to spread positivity without being overbearing. And I do fail at that plenty.

My biggest complaint in daily life is that Starbucks has crappy music at a very loud volume over their indoor speakers.

I’m sorry to hear that. I’m sure she was a sweetheart and was very well loved.

Our girl has bladder cancer, possible kidney issues and an autoimmune disorder that recently flared up. My wife and I promised that we wouldn’t make her suffer so it’s time to make the call with all of the issues that have presented. We got her from a breeder in Lake Charles that specializes in Border Collies. We had her flown out to San Jose and picked her up on Easter Day 2014. I’m very much of the mindset that a boy should grow up with a dog so we got her for him and vice versa. Lots of memories were made. We’ll take her one last time to the river on Saturday so that she can play and swim after her frisbee… we’ll throw in some treats too. She likes French fries

Really enjoying that the guy from Tennessee who got his civil liberties violated after posting about CK's death got a big settlement

Bushart was arrested in September after he refused to take down Facebook memes that joked about Kirk’s killing, which had prompted an outpouring of grief among conservatives, including in Perry County, which is near Bushart’s home and which held a candlelight vigil.

The meme Bushart posted that prompted his arrest read: “This seems relevant today...” and featured President Donald Trump and the words, “We have to get over it.” That quote, the meme explained, was said by Trump in 2024 after a school shooting at Iowa’s Perry High School.
