They can say that as a spokesperson, or one of the freaks in the party, but they can't say that in office.

I assumed they would simply lie, like the Muslims who lie to dominate the world for Islam. As long as the overall goal is met, they would likely do and say anything else to achieve that goal, no matter how immoral, because they view morality as a means to that greater end.

If a specific person taking the oath has overtly disavowed the Constitution, you may have a point. However nothing in the Constitution would prohibit a self-proclaimed democratic socialist, by that fact alone, from taking the oath of office…
