How will the left shut down College Football?

Although CFB is trending down the path of wokeness and becoming unwatchable, It is not a disgusting pile of shite yet... but that’s a discussion for another thread
For the most part, college football still gives people joy and something to look forward to, which could possibly take their minds off the Orange man being bad. The left has about a month to draw something up to ruin this, or if they want to be really sinister let a couple games get played before they decide to carpet bomb the sport.
My prediction is they are waiting for a 325 lb asthmatic lineman to get really sick during fall camp so the MSM can blast it nonstop over a 168 hour news cycle until every conference folds.
TLDR: Amateur sports are still mostly good, so there is no way they let the season happen

If they are going to be woke , I hope it gets shutdown so their pandering universities will lose a lot of money.

MSM media makes too much money from NCAA sports to cancel them. MSM won't carry that torch for the left.

Like they do with everything:
1. Undermine via education, media, academia, government
2. Label racist/sexist/facist (etc.), force it to defend what it isn't
3. Hammer the label home with every mention. Rebrand it as whatever you've labeled it.
4. Intimidate until it slinks away, by any means necessary - doxxing, boycotts, threaten advertisers, supporters, members, participants, etc., and protest, riots, murder - whatever it takes.

I'm waiting to see how the six foot separation rule is going to work. Unless ball carriers are tripping over their own shoelaces the game will be a track meet. If a six foot rule is not implemented then this has all been bullshite since the get go, with this being the proof.

It seems clear to me that they are shutting down sports by infiltrating them and turning them into unfun "woke fests."

Go read Pat Forde, Dan Wolken, Pete Thamel, Russ Mitchell, Stewart Mandel. These guys are far left cfb journalist that would rather the season get cancelled because it helps make Trump look bad than make money at their jobs

Plus little anecdotes every 15 seconds about “systemic racism.” (Iowa, TCU, Colorado State, Clemson). Not to mention the PAC 12 crying and demanding 50% of the conference revenue. Universities forcing coaches to release a statement on George Floyd.
It’s not at NFL level wokeness yet... but it’s definitely starting down that road.

CFB got woke and killed off any credibility left. Universities are now known breeding grounds for the radical Marxist Left. CFB, no matter how inconvenient, is part of the university system. BLM etched on helmets, emblazoned on scoreboards, painted onto end zone grasses, and talking heads yammering or writing on and on about systemic racism, speculating who will/won’t kneel, and the usual Leftista talking points has poisoned the well.

Up until about 3 years ago I had the total cable package here in Virginia just so I could get the SEC channel and ensure that I watched all the Georgia games (and any other game I had an interest in) without leaving the comfort of my home. Heck, I even had a subscription to watch all of my high school alma mater's games on the internet. I got rid of that and just went to bars and watched the games I had an interest in. Now, with the fake virus, I can't even do that, and don't feel any sense of loss at all. In fact, I've rediscovered my bookshelf. I've read Plato's Republic 3 times in the last month and gotten something new from each reading. I'm also going out and hiking the many great trails here in the Shenandoah Valley. I come here to catch up on the news. This is the best political chat board on the net. Just sayin'. Don't need no woke ball.

This would have been my 20th season of having season tickets. I asked for a refund yesterday when I received the e-mail from LSU asking what I'd like to do for this year and informed them I'm officially done and would not be renewing for the 2021 season. This is not a boycott...I do not care AT ALL if I'm the only one doing this. This is a personal choice based on their actions, with which I vehemently disagree. Therefore I can no longer justify spending money and supporting LSU athletics.
