hours, and as much as 30 inches overall?
I had no idea the storm was that severe. Some sources are saying it's a record amount of rain (24 inches in 12 hours and 30 inches overall).

I know this happened about 3 days ago, but I didn't know until earlier today that it was this catastrophic. Prayers for everybody who had to go thru that and is still experiencing the effects of it.

Wow. Sounds like numbers from 2016 EBR. So many don’t have flood insurance bc not in flood zone. I know exactly what they are going through. Prayers sent.

My daughter (no pics you figs) flooded in Dupont. They are just getting to the house by four wheeler today. My wife (no pics you figs) has organized many donations for cleaning supplies and will be serving lots of food this Friday. This will be available at the community center in Plaucheville. We personally have donated lots of stuff already.

We got 30 in 24 hrs. in '16, K. I've lived here for 75 years and nothing ever came close to that. 20 inches in my house; a lot got 8 feet by the rivers. I hope I never see that happen again, but I don't have a good feeling about the way those Lows are moving out of the Gulf this year. It's when a Northern Front stalls and the Low slides along the edge. It's like a rip current on the beach; bad news.

Geez man i had no idea it was that bad.
You guys reach out to some trucking companies and have them setup a trailer for a donation site. Those guys are eager to help. We did something similar here in DFW with Raider Express trucking in 2016 BR flood.

I do and I grew up close to and know Rut (nickname of guy in video). We did indeed get that much rain. My house looked like it was on an island. The town I live near Moreauville did not have nearly as many flooded homes, but Pleaucheville, Dupont, and Cottonport got it really bad. Many people I know have flooded homes. I was fortunate and only got a little in my ODK.

Arthur was a minimal tropical storm, yet it generated 30 inch rainfall rates in isolated areas. Not a welcome outlook for this upcoming Atlantic hurricane season.

Texas and the adjoining Gulf are simply hot as balls. A huge discharge of Saharan dust 'cross the Atlantic is temporarily giving us a reprieve.

You know nothing about weather and I hate when you post shite like this in threads, its nothing but climate alarmist trolling on a heavy republican board

Sorry to hear that some of you have some problems because of this storm. Prayers that everything will get fixed quickly.

I saw where somebody said one town in particular (Cottonport?) was hit the worst, but it wasn't limited to that town.
