can you explain that?
What is the population and demographics of all these "every single country"? What is the US in comparison?
What is our violent crime rate? What is theirs?

Chicago has the toughest gun laws in the United States but has had 1,400 murders over the past few years mostly involving illegal guns. Could it be that criminals do not respect laws? Do you think this Cruz piece of shite was deterred by the "gun free zone" sign on the front gate?

I don't remember you leftists screaming about all of those killings by illegal immigrants. You bunch of damn hypocrites.

actually think the media has done a decent job at making the shooters less of a story than they used to. its far from great but its going in the right direction. i can still name the columbine shooters for example, but not the Sandy Hook freak or whoever shut up the movie theater in Colorado or even the Boston Bombers. i have MSM as a home page and i dont think ive seen the Florida guy as a headline once, its all been about the victims.
I think the media should provide basic info and very little else.
I don’t think it’s just about focusing on the shooter. The amount of attention in general may please a sick mind and encourage them to act in a similar fashion.

There are more guns in California than there is in China. What do you do with those guns? How does a ban prevent the use of these weapons that are already out in the public?

Why aren't you calling for a ban of assault cigarettes?
happy?

it's actually very likely it's due to the media's reporting and obsession on the AR
Either way, this idea that if we eliminate the AR-15 and we are eliminating this weapon that's uniquely capable of mass murder at schools, is retarded. Seung-Hui Cho, killed 32 and injured 25 more with just two pistols. No school shooting with an AR-15 has taken that many lives.

They want a forced gun buy back like Australia, and that will lead to a Civil War.

Nope. Still have alcohol. And sugar. And automobiles. And a frick ton of other things that kill exponentially more people than firearms.
Can you just admit that you don't give a flying frick about saving lives? It's 100% a pure emotional plea that is completely asinine.

I think I disavowed The False Choice as a debating tactic by 9th grade. The adults explained to me that it was dishonest and would result in me quickly losing the debate. Respecting myself I followed their advice. If you need me to explain it to you, I promise to speak very slowly.

Plus let's regulate speech and music, #metoo would wreak havoc on rap.

It looks scary. Someone well versed with a pistol or two and few magazines can do just as much or more damage in a close quarters setting like a classroom.

Yes I can.
We are not them.
Them left those countries you mentioned and formed us.
Us is doing fine warts and all.

ok well that's an irrelevant response
we're talking about banning our constitutional rights

Don't forget about the assault cigarette machines.

i can guarantee there will be far less, yes
No you can't. In fact I would even say you couldn't even guarantee the AR15 style weapon usage would go down in these types of rare crimes.
quote:
look at their homicide rates compared to ours.
Please do go look at our homicide rate and you will see it's very rare that an AR15, much less a long rifle are used in homicides.
What laws would have prevented the shooting in Florida?
