I don't recall the opposition to Clinton and Bush being based in them being unAmerican and actively working to undermine America. You disagreed with them but you never questioned their patriotism.

You're right in that it all changed with the election of Obama and has only gotten worse since then. It's no longer enough to disagree on principles of policy; you now have to question their entire loyalty to America itself.

It's toxic and it's not sustainable and it needs to be reigned in quickly.

Due you mean one order of magnitude, or 10 orders of magnitude?

I don't think Republican leadership ever endorsed that kind of mind set. Can we same the same for the Dems?

I think you're searching hard for a distinction without a difference

Is there a cover up?

Not really. I think your quest to see everyone as a hypocrite blinds you to the truth.

Well, if this is true then there used to be one. That's how these things work. First, there was a cover up and when that no longer worked there was formerly a cover up.

Now, there is no cover up. I think that's right. IF

I'm not going to take the time to go look up the quotes from Republican leadership on the birth certificate, Obama's religion, the Iran deal, etc.

We'll just have to agree to disagree.

with 24 hour news channels "creating" news and a President that openly perpetuates this sort of conduct, yeah, that's NOT gonna happen.... but i totally agree with everything you posted....

you. can't. be. serious. as a registered independent that, in the past 3 elections, voted D, R, then didn't vote, let me be the first to say that your statement is patently false....

It is much more than that, but unlike Nixon, Obama went and got a FISA warrant. Of course FISA did not happen until 1978 It's an abuse to be sure. But he protected himself by doing it.

He ought to have his skinny arse kicked and physically abused for doing it.

It's at least a 7.

If you think it's not a big deal, fast forward four years and imagine the Trump administration obtaining FISA warrants for the Democratic operatives and staff working on the Democratic Presidential candidate's campaign.

If that spectre scares you (and it should), then the Obama FISA spying should at least bother you.

Infinitely worse. There's no comparison in US history. There will be fallout. A day of reckoning is coming. Trump is coming, Trump is coming and he's bringing hell with him. Democrats are going to pay and pay Bigly.

Are you f*cking kidding? Doesn't even compare to what Nixon did. And he did a LOT besides Watergate, which was horrendous in itself. Nixon should have served prison time. He was totally corrupt.

Very good point. Outstanding job of laying out the details of the case.
