Everyone on the Right, many moderates, and even some on the Left that were civil with him will be present.

I’ll be surprised if many prominent leftist politicians will be there.

Predictions on which Dems will be there?

Why are you so consistently terrible?

I struggled today in church.

I only go to funerals of close friends and family members. I would never go to a funeral of someone that I did not know personally. It's just my opinion, but I think this kind of behavior is a little strange.

Funerals have never been my thing, and I've skipped some when I was young. As I've gotten older I've realized that sometimes attending them isn't always about me grieving, but supporting the spouse/children/family that are left behind. It shows that their loved one made an impact in the world beyond what they did at home. Let's the family know that the sacrifices they made by letting their loved one do the things they did was worth it. Now, in my late 40s, there are some that I skipped that I regret skipping.

As far as this one goes, if I'm not able to relay a deep personal story to the family members as I greet them, I wouldn't put much effort into going. I'm sure it will be broadcast in some manner, and I don't need to clog things up for others that have a more personal connection.

It was a young man that was a voice for myself and a positive influence for our young kids (if you have kids… I do)

I took the easy route. Went to college. Great job with a great company. Great benefits. I had a really poor upbringing.

For me to be as vocal or engaging would be jeopardizing to my livelihood and I’m not willing to risk that at the time.

I’m thankful for people like CK. I’d go if I could, but I have to work.

Without people like CK, we’d be railed by the left. Some just want to show gratitude and uplift the cause.

Even if it was held in my hometown, there is absolutely nothing that would make me go to his funeral. I enjoy his YouTube clips and am outraged over his assassination. But why the frick would I go to his funeral at a stadium?

Historically people have gone to funerals to pay respect to the family. Charlie Kirk was a modern voice for conservative Christian values aimed towards young males. You may not be a young male, but if you are in the like 15 to 30 range, he was a huge deal who was making a great positive influence. If I lived in Arizona, I would go.

Not that I’m bothered by Rubio not going, but why do you say “people like Rubio” not going?

Why would he not want to go ?

I’m upset but I’m not a freakin snowflake who needs to go cry at a funeral for a dude I’ve never met.

So wanting to go pay respects to someone now makes one a "snowflake"? Man.. why do you suck so much as a poster?

My niece met him and she's flying from Florida to be at the funeral. Wish I could go.

That is awesome and I know you are proud. There will not be one country in this world that is not represented at his memorial. His message was powerful and uplifting without ever using one word opposing the downtrodden or ashamed.
