The potential for a civil war has already ended. Nonleftists can't even peacefully protest these days.
Charlottesville is the perfect example. Nonleftists got the permits to peacefully protest. Local/federal officials and politicians fanned the flames and demanded a violent counterprotest to happen. Counterprotesters came, the police actually funneled the counterprotesters and peaceful protesters together, and then stood down and watched the violence. shite escalated to the point of a woman losing her life.
Nonleftists are not allowed to peacefully protest. Officials and politicians encourage them to be attacked.

You mean the US Military who's family members would then become the family of the enemy, that would then be left to the mercy of a populous that could literally furnish a firearm to every personnel of the Chinese, Russian, North Korean, Indian and US combined military, and still have over 300 million left over?
What in the hell would then be the point of sitting behind a computer pressing buttons unleashing horrible destruction while your family members are at home being slaughtered one by one.
