In Haughton, LA I do. The main street in my neighborhood almost every house has an American flag.

Have had the US flag every day (except bad weather) for as long as I remember. Always bring it in at dark. Compliments of Johnny Cash song Ragged Old flag. Added Trump flag this weekend to my wife's dismay because she's afraid some wacko will try to harm us or our house. I'm not worried at all in our TX neighborhood. Strong Trump presence here.

I have two large American flags flowing in the wind. One in front of the house and one attached to a barn like structure on the side.

Cause it's silly? If you like doing it by all means do it....

Most people probably don't do it because they are busy living their lives and running a flag up and down every day just ain't that meaningful to them....it is, at the end of the day, just a piece of cloth. The idea behind it is important, the flag itself is nothing more than a piece of cloth.

Most people who do fly a flag do so incorrectly...another reason not to do it. If you do it and make a mistake some arse wipe will take you to task over it....as if it is any of their damned business.

I have a good friend who flies the US Flag and a Trump 20/20 Flag....all day and night...lit up like a city block. About 3 months ago he started finding the Trump flag upside down in the morning....was CONVINCED BLM and ANTIFA was invading his property every night....in a rural area of Texas. Would admit it may be illegal immigrants. Put up game cameras because it is rural Texas and he has them eerywhere on his place. Finally caught the culprits...it was 2 of his very good friends playing a prank on him LOL....dogs knew them like they knew him so they never said a word...in fact would meet them as they snuck up the driveway and lead the way LOL...dude was PISSED....He called me several times during this period and was getting more and more unhinged convinced that someone around him was doing it as a political statement LOL.
