NASCAR has been awesome the last month and zero social justice stuff. Sucks to be missing out just in time for the playoffs

I am 100% cool with that. But that isn't what is happening.
They are actively pushing their agenda WHILE I am trying to enjoy the sport. If they want to protest or whatever on their time, even capitalizing on their fame, then go for it. But the sport is my time they are getting paid for.

NASCAR literally faked a hate crime, lied about it, and went into damage control mode afterwards lol
At least the NBA and NFL are upfront about their hatred of America, Republicans, and law enforcement .... NASCAR tried to pander to the anti-America crowd all the while insulting the intelligence of everyone else.

I will be watching unless they boycott
I was watching NBA and MLB until they boycotted games
I haven’t watched a single dribble since and I won’t
I know lot of people who say they won’t be watching football, but they said that 3-4 years ago and I d walk into their house and nfl was on

I'm not going to let a political opinion held by the NFL/NCAA keep me from enjoying football.
I also don't care if the CEO of Taco Bell comes out in favor of the Holocaust. I'm still getting that cheesy gordita crunch.

I gave nascar 50 years of loyal fandom ..... and loved it ..... but they deliberately deceived their fan base in the name of a publicity stunt ... a demographic ratings grab.
... and I will not soon forget it.

That sucks you let something two months ago bother you
Posted on 9/8/20 at 7:15 pm to ZIGG
That’s true. I’ve watched it since the beginning and will continue to do so.

College football will be littered with prog/lib agenda. LSU is on endangered species list in my house. Already threw my Saints gear in the donation box.

I'm super fired up to watch my son & the 8th grade Running Brushy middle School Cougars in Cedar Park TX wreck shop on the other area junior high football teams. All the rest can piss off... Namely LeBron & his ilk...

I enjoy watching Antifa hunting.

I tried to watch the season opener with Austin Peay and Central Arkansas
I turned it off when the ESPN announcers told me I was racist for watching it.
Maybe sports will come back next year after the ratings plummet, but for this year I have to help send the message. I’ll keep tabs on LSU/Saints/Astros but I won’t give them money and I won’t be watching the games this year

Grew up living and breathing football. Dad played college ball, older brother played, I played too. I lost interest several years back in pro sports (prima donnas) except baseball and now I've lost interest in it too due to politics.
As a white male, I have been designated a racist. I am a designated slave owner as well because I love college football. Politics is important, don't get me wrong, but it should have stayed out of sports.
It's time to move on.

I love sports. I won’t let these America hating bullies ruin it for me.

I don’t expect the SEC on CBS will go as far as ESPN and their family of networks and I’m hoping they take a serious ratings hit and tone it down. It happened to them before (remember the SC6 debacle?) and I guess they haven’t learned. I don’t know—maybe I’ll try to listen to the radio broadcast for the ESPN games as much as I can, then watch the game on YouTube later. We’ll see how it goes.
