But you don’t see the Oscars simulcast on ABC, ESPN, SEC-N, ESPN 2, ESPNU, Disney, Disney+, Disney Jr, FX, History, NatGeo, A&E, and Hulu
ETA: it would make sense to simulcast on BET and CBS (BET for obvious reasons and CBS for more reach with non-cable audience). Not to have it on 10 different cable channels at the same time

All of those channels listed in the OP are owned by the same corporate structure.
They also run MTV awards and probably other shite on multiple channels.

This might have been worth watching for the comedy value of the outfits and hairstyles.

But don'cha know it's what they call 'virtual signaling'?
Its like all these white ill-liebrals are waving their little rainbow colored & U-Crainian flags with 27 different ribbons pinned on their chest saying 'Hey look at me, I'm not a wascist', I'm open minded and tolerant unlike all you unwashed bigot hillbillies.'
Hit 'em where it hurts worst, in their greedy little pocket books.
Cut the cable, disconnect the satellite TV... Get a regular TV antenna, something like Channel Master. You will be surprised at how many channels you can get with a basic Channel Master antenna.
95% of what is on satellite and cable TV is garbage anyway.
There is a very informative thread on the Tech board on how to do this. 'Cutting the cord thread'
