I don't like post-country Taylor, but she's an incredible artist and will make many more millions/billions before her career "ends". She won't be making any money from me, but she will make it all the same.

I think she's always owned the copyrights and publishing rights to her music, which is what matters when people want to use her songs. It was the master recordings that were owned by her first recording company, which per the internet, she recently bought for $300+ million. That's the normal deal with most all musicians when they break into the business, the studios/recording companies own the masters. In reading on the issue it seems she has cautioned new acts in taking that traditional approach, which is a good thing.

Having a children, raising them for two decades and having them at your dying bedside is much more impressive than being born with a voice to sing a song. Plus, she clearly desires to be a sammich maker herself, hence her quest to find a man so late in life.
