He doesn’t have to - that’s why Chris Cristie (and apparently Asa Hutchinson) are in the race.

Didn't Rob put out a statement condemning the indictment already, although indirectly?

Should have already started. I would go with the line of thinking that the D’s want Trump to be the nominee, therefore the purpose behind making him a martyr

Never since he’s consistently supported him in this and opposed the DOJ politicization.

Also his name is Ron Desantis.

Did he attack Trump about the indictment itself or joke about Trump fricking a porn star?

Because I'm quite positive RDS attacked the indictment in NY and not Trump.

I will say it again slowly. DeSantis tanked after that for a reason. You argued then this same line.

He has lost the MAGA vote... period

For what? Paying off porn stars. That is fair game.

DeSantis did go after Bragg.

The truth?

Why didn't you just answer the question directly? I'll post it again for you:

Did he attack Trump about the indictment itself or joke about Trump fricking a porn star?

JJ is being his typically intellectual dishonest self, trying to merge RDS joking about Trump's affairs as an "attack" on Trump re: the indictment itself (which RDS clearly criticized).

Haha. Would Trump do the same for any of the other candidates?

Nope. He went after Trump and his numbers tanked.

I don’t find this a persuasive line of argument when we are witnessing something so completely unprecedented in the annals of American politics.

Maybe others do. I don’t know.

You should.

Trump is about Trump. Not conservatism, not America, and not you.

Thats because these few are ok with what is happening.

Several DeSantis supporters are giddy over this. Several have openly expressed they are happy. Tigerhokd being one of them.

I think the very issue of Trump being discussed (his egotistical and emotional nature of personal interaction/existence) is why it's so easy for so many people to support/not care about this unprecedented response.
