I’m not giving legal advice to anyone
But you feel free to write the memo referencing employee-counts, Title VII, the ADA, at-will employment, union contracts and/ or the ADEA for the strangers on the internet so we’ll all know how smart you are and how fancy your law school was.
And you and I both know you’ll end up in the same area I did- yeah, it’s most likely legal as frick

You really must be retarded as a lawyer

To be fair, I was really retarded before I became a lawyer. Having a bar card has only exacerbated it.

I will upvote that reply

I can assure you, those who have taken the vaccine won’t have an issue with it.
Hospital staff have been required for years to take the flu shot, AND wear a sticker on their ID badge.

That’s actually not true. Hospital employees who refuse to get the flu shot, must wear a mask during flu season.

You guys dont deal with HR much do you. Its illegal, well it is voluntary, etc.
Let me ask you this, Your company sends out a note for voluntary attendance of a "race relations" meeting. What do you think would happen to your career if you voluntarily decided not to attend.

Ok, but it’s still not illegal.

Ok, but it’s still not illegal.

"employers must keep vaccination information confidential pursuant to the ADA"
In this instance, the employer is actually creating the vehicle of delivery ("voluntary" stickers) that releases personal medical information about its employees. Had employees voluntarily placed a sticker on their ID previously, no personal medical information would be assumed by others. Now, the association is made, only because the employer establishes it as so.

In our case, requiring vaccinations as a condition of employment violates the union contract that was just signed and ratified.
Who says unions aren't good for anything but increasing costs and driving jobs overseas!!!

They should all wear yellow star masks bearing “Jude”

Like I told my union rep in the initial orientation. I don't have problem with unions. I have a problem with mandatory membership and dues. If you convince me on the merits regarding why I should join, I might agree. If you compel me to join I will resist you at every opportunity.

Mine requires the HR people to successfully scan the chip that was implanted at the vaccine site before they tattoo your forehead with "safe".

I need a mask saying, “I’ve had COVID so my antibodies are more protective than your vaccine”
Or more simply put…
Antibodies >>>>>>> Vaccine
Or more simply put…
Antibodies >>>>>>> Vaccine

I’m in the same boat, but honestly, I wouldn’t take the vax even if I had not had the virus last Christmas.

IDK but I can tell you that my 20 yo is NOT vaccinated and is interning at St. Jude this summer. Badge given to her has one color sticker and other interns have a different color .. because they've been vaccinated.

In accordance with CDC guidelines, the employer is allowing vaccinated employees to go maskless. Nothing illegal there. If you disagree with that policy then just quit your job and spend more time with your militia buddies.
If you want to go maskless at work, then you have to prove to your employer you were vaccinated. Still nothing illegal there. The employer needs that information.
If you decide to maskless at work, then all of your co-workers will assume you were vaccinated. Otherwise you should be sent home. The employer still has done nothing illegal, just allowed you to disclose and take advantage of your vaccination status.
If you attach a sticker to your ID, you are just telling people what they already know by the fact you are not wearing a mask. But having the sticker allows you to move freely about the office without having to prove your vaccination status everywhere you.
If you choose instead to wear a mask, people should not assume you are unvaccinated. Plenty of vaccinated people still prefer to wear masks. Just blend in.
Or maybe what you want is a sticker for your ID to prove you are NOT vaccinated. You are probably right that not having that sticker available is discriminatory.

Your entire statement is wrong... idiot. People that don’t know the law spouting off is embarrassing
It is the mask requirement that is illegal as it provides health information in violation of ada
Simple as that
