Something i RARELY see talked about. But how is the House looking? Current split is (R)198 (D)232 (L)1 (Vacant)4.

Any chance Republicans take majority back?

In short, no. There will be some flips on both sides, but in the end, Democrats will hold a solid majority.

There's a much stronger chance of the Republicans losing the Senate than retaking the house.

I don't have much hope at all of that happening. The Senate is the real fight to worry about

GOP sucks.. Trump has shown them time and time again what the conservative base is looking for, and they continue to ignore that and opt for the pussy middle-ground approach

Only hope for the Senate is Trump being on the ballot should help some of these weak arse candidates across the finish line

I'm not so sure. The growing sentiment against Democrats is palpable. And those alleged people who want to vote against Dems but "just can't stomach Trump" blah blah blah.....those people will be able to vote against Dems in Congressional races and not have to think about Trump.

If the Republicans had any leadership in the House at all (and I'm disappointed in Scalise), they could probably mount a "Contract with America" type campaign in the face of all the chaos with some success.

But, the GOP just seems to be riding this Trump thing out so they can get back to being the loyal (yet toothless) opposition.

GOP really shot themselves in the foot with bad candidates in some districts that should have flipped back to GOP in '20. It would take a 300+ Trump EV performance for GOP to have a shot to take the House back. Right now, Dems at betting at 85% odds to keep the House on predictit.

But if we get a red wave like in '16, it's more than possible. The House flipped in '18 based on a 2 pt swing.

Then the Republicans will never take back the house. And I know, never is a long time.

IF this is correct, it's "Idiocracy" in real life.

The clown show that's taken over the democratic party will absolutely ruin this country as we've always known it.

I hope to God Trump pulls this out and continues to flip judges- because more and more issues will have to be settled in the courts against these naked communists. They'll try and stonewall on every issue- just as they've done for the last four years.

Hard Fact: D.C. has been bastardized to the point where the only term limits for these career political goons is voluntary retirement, or death.

No chance. The way the districts are drawn, it will be almost impossible for the Republicans to win the house any time in the foreseeable future.

I do think that the Republicans have a chance to flip a few seats, 45 days is a long time in politics right now...let's see what happens...

Republicans are probably losing senate seats in AZ, CO, and NC.

That leaves a 50/50 split. Biden wins and they control.

And republicans have to pray that ME holds.

Maybe! Depends if the GOP can get out the vote in large enough numbers to neutralize the fraudulent cheat-by-mail ballots. IF Harris - Biden does win the election, and the democrats gain control of Congress it will be fun to watch the people who voted for the Harris - Biden - Pelosi - Schumer cabal bitch and complain.

I expect they'll most likely be the first ones bitching when their income taxes go through the roof, AND they have to pay exorbitant price for gasoline at the pump as a result of AOC's Green New Deal.........AND American corporations decide to keep their manufacturing plants in China.......AND let's not forget.......waiting for months and months for that all important life saving surgery under a single payer healthcare delivery system......(aka Cuban - Venezualan Model). Hey I'm just telling you what Kamala Harris - Joe Biden and the democrats have told us they intend to do.

I think the GOP loses 10 -15 seats in the House. No chance the GOP retakes the House. Senate will probably flip to Democrats due to AZ, CO, NC. SC and ME losses. If Trump wins and the Senate goes 50/50, I think Romney will switch to the Dems in order to negate Pence breaking a tie.

House needs to flip 17 seats. I (and many) think 10 is the max. Maybe 11 if Maryland 7 is in play.

You are insane.

GOP will gain anywhere from 3-10 in the House no matter if Trump gets destroyed.

Dems could take the Senate, but If you think Lindsey Graham is losing in SC, I don't know what to tell you. Also, CO loss will be offset by AL. So Dems need four not counting Colorado.
