Saw the movie which could be classified as a documentary today.

A spike in the crime rate is not an excuse to allow the wholesale slaughter of innocent children.

This is where you implement lifetime government assistance for sterilization. 3 generations away from utopia.

I’m tired of these post where the OP starts off by listing all his conservative beliefs to point out That “I’m not one of the crazy leftist” only to then try and use conservative talking points to legitimize abortion. There is nothing you or any other single person on planet Earth regardless of political affiliation that can justify the MURDER of innocent children.

What if I told you that the birth rate in this country has been almost completely flat and population growth has been perfectly linear since Roe? What if I told you that when pregnancy had consequences, people were much more responsible and careful, with only a fraction of the contraceptive technology and access we currently have? Teen pregnancies were dramatically lower, and young men were more likely to become family men in the event of an unplanned pregnancy. What if I told you that adoption in the US plummeted after Roe -- children that would have otherwise been placed into loving homes, and could have had bright futures, were mutilated. There are approximately 36 waiting families for every one child currently put up for adoption. What if I told you that in spite of nearly 20% of all pregnancies being aborted, and 50 years of Roe, crime rates and poverty rates are just as bad today as they were in the 70's.
This is one of the best thought out and well stated arguments against the OP and others try at abortion justification I have seen. I will be adding this to my debate points on this topic moving forward. Thank you

But it has been studied extensively and it’s really clear, at least to me from reviewing the data that making abortion illegal will lead to a serious spike in crime rate. It seems problematic to me that states with the highest rates of poor minorities almost all passed abortion bans.
Someone read the beginning of Freakonomics.

Babies should die because dumbasses are scared of the potential crime those babies may commit?

If you count abortions as murder, then crime never really went down.

The OPs premise disproves itself.
50 years of Roe hasn’t affected population, poverty rate, or crime rate.
It’s increased unplanned pregnancies, decimated adoption, and lead to an explosion of communicable disease - and has done so disproportionately in the communities OP is most concerned about.

Who said anything about them suddenly entering the picture? My words were "focus on rebuilding families in those communities". Those issues won't be resolved overnight. One starting point can be welfare reform.

whites are just as bad as poc for completely different reasons. The middle class has traded children for luxury, then taken out mega loans and credit cards to live an artificial life.

you are right. an all-out ban of abortions would probably lead to an extremely uncomfortable adjustment period for society. Perhaps a generation. There's no question, however, that the threat of an unwanted pregnancy that you cannot erase would eventually quell sexual promiscuity. Society must also demand men take responsibility and be honorable - perhaps we should stop funding unplanned pregnancies via the welfare state.
Most of the issues we face in this realm are selfinflicted.

Pseudo luxury has destroyed white people.
Its created a helpless, lazy risk averse society. People will sell out to keep up with those Jones'

We don't prosecute criminals before they hatch. Hahaha

1. Abortion is a sin and should be removed from society
2. Abortion as a pre-crime measure is unjust
3. If the concern is about future crime increases, now is a great time to petition your representatives to think of other ways to stem crime for the future, such as the death penalty for violent crimes like rape and murder

It absolutely will cause a spike in crime and require a massive tax increase to care for all the new kids being born.
Because people have no agency. Government is all and over all and in you all.
Alternatively, the lefties might get angry and all get fixed in retaliation and stop having kids then the righties get angry and fix the welfare state and people stop being morons and use readily available prophylactics instead of popping kids out all the time because they're too stupid to regulate themselves once the free money stops.
But no. It's leftist doomsday scenarios all the way down according to David the Troll.

It probably will, but is that really a reason to not kill innocent children in the womb? What if one of those not killed in the womb finds the cure for cancer?

You are assuming there will be a widespread ban on abortion. This only sends it back to the states. In the cities where crime is the biggest problem there will for the most part still be abortion with little restriction. Couple that with the fact that birthrates are decreasing anyways and I doubt you are going to see much of a change. Even if you did, that sure as hell isn't a reason to kill a baby.
