Looks like a setup.
Did he take liberties with a partner who wanted it?
Maybe. That's not illegal in most states so that's just the bad luck of geography and over-criminalization.
Whatever he he did is nullified by the set-up in my book.

That's exactly my point. DOJ didn't charge him, so I guess he did nothing wrong. Why give up a lifetime seat in Congress?

You can stand up against criminal sexual behavior and still support Trump, they’re not mutually exclusive.
We should denounce Gaetz and let the party move on. He shouldn’t have a role in this administration or any other.
If he runs for Senate in Florida I will vote for him.

Check all the Florida records / court dockets/ pleadings
Check the DOJ investigation and grand jury information
Check all of MG actual statements

Wasn’t a lifetime seat obviously but he was looking to be AG. As things were getting headlined he stepped aside and I’m sure it was with Trump’s okay as something else is at play
