How funny is it that the US Navy is naming a vessel after gay rights activist Harvey Milk

During WWII some old ships that were for battle in WWI were reconditioned for non battle use. If that was done today they would be named after transgenders.

Former Navy here and all I have to say is Dear GOD. This will definitely make the command " permission to come aboard" have more meaning.
