How does this board currently view the Vance VP nomination?

Okay or not okay with it?

If Trump is okay with it, I’m okay with it. He knows better than anyone else who his VP should be.

I’m more than ok with it
Awesome pick.
My first pick was Vivek but it’s clear Vivek did not want the VP pick
I really like the Florida guys but they can’t have 2 people from the same state - yes, there’s ways to get around it but the dems would have made it a pain in the arse in the courts
Game ON since it’s 100% Kamala

Would have picked Youngkin, but Vance is a helluva lot better in the VP slot than Cumswallow has been the past 4 years.

I think the board is lukewarm. In terms of winning the election, it may help some in the rust belt. Youngkin would have been a safer pick. But, JD is one of the only hopes to carry MAGA forward. It's pretty clear this was driven by Jr.

Don't love it at all but we gotta deal with it. I'm seeing a lot of talks about him being bad and all that's going to do is fuel the left and divide in red. Can almost guarantee that we will never hear him reference cat ladies again. Bet Trump got in that azz.

He is:
1. Against forever war and Ukraine funding..
2. Washington insiders hate him
3. Tells it like it is on Social Security and Medicare…
Really haven’t found much not to like…

JD has a much bigger name recognition than Youngkin
Plus his hillbilly eulogy thing has really helped women fall in love with JD for VP
Oh, single non mom women hate him but trump will never win the cat ladies over anyways so no fricks given if Jennifer Aniston dislikes him - she will always be a never trumper

So how did those favorability ratings for Quayle and Plain help out in those races?

I'm surprised at how effectively the media has set the narrative on JDV and how unsympathetic I feel towards him
If the media attacked Sarah Huckabee or Ben Carson like this it would backfire.
Think it was a mistake.

I think Vance would be a good POTUS when called upon.
Due to Harris’ “FPOC” status and from an electability standpoint, I wish he’d gone with Byron Donalds.

I like the pick, but I recognize it’s pretty meaningless at this point. No Trump VP pick was really going to sway anything at all either way. Especially in the current dynamic, but probably under any.
