You know they are going to try. Do they use the local police? The state police? The national guard? I can’t believe the men and women of these institutions would take part in it.

How do they accomplish it?

they won't. they'll just make them illegal to own and prosecute when you're found with one.

Nobody will be knocking on doors for a mass roundup. They’ll make them illegal via legislation, give you a grace period to turn them in, then after that’s done, anyone caught with one will be thrown into prison.

They will take part and the people will hand them
Over. We’ve lost this nation! We allowed the freaks to set the precedent and it’s too far gone. One thing can save this nation and the people don’t have it in them.

So, by the stroke of a pen, you make the vast majority of American Citizens criminals?

Not even close. I’m just a poor soul who was the victim of a terrible boating accident on the Diversion Canal. Just tragic I tell ya, tragic.

I don’t think it will happen in conservative states. The federal government can pass laws that the states won’t follow. They will cut money to those states and you will start to see states succeed.

I'm pretty sure that they'd just send your local five-0 to do the job. And he'd knock on your door and say, "sorry Jeb. You know I'm just doing my job. I've got a family to feed like you do. Turn that thing over now."

And 99% of you wannabees would just hand them over to your local yahoo buddies wearing the blue.

‘Weapons of War’.

This seems to be the favorite term of the left to scare people into buying into a national gun grab. Never mind the actual words of the second amendment and what it pertains to…

Typically, US Attorneys don’t take a simple illegal gun possession case (I.e sawed off shotgun) without an accompanying crime. I know a couple of law-abiding citizens with sawed off shotguns in their bedrooms. Most likely, this would be the similar rule of thumb with ARs & AKs if they were outlawed. Keep them in the privacy of your home and you’ll be ok - assuming you can live with th stress of knowing they could get you prison time if discovered.

As always, I stress that everyone should be wise where they live. It would be very very hard to find a federal jury in southwest GA to convict on one of these charges against a decent person. Not impossible though. But AUSAs hate to lose cases and want relatively slam dunk cases going into court.

They can't and they know it. The US population owns more than 51 percent of all private firearms in the world and and we have more arms and ammo than the government. The land is too big, logistics would be a problem, and those that would stay to try and confiscate would be slaughtered. Unless you as a President are will to do airstrikes on a civilian population, inside our borders to where you lose most of the military and a coup would likely happen. They know they can't confiscate so they will make it really expensive. Annual fees per weapon, try to control and limit production and supply, and taxes will be their avenue.

They’ll make a ban, have the media talk about how righteous it is, have Twitter and Facebook do the same banning any talk to the contrary, the majority will feel they are the minority and comply or burry their firearms.

Honestly I feel like going after companies, like adding employee firearm ownership to ESG scores will be their move. When owning firearms keeps you from getting a job less people will ge buying in the next generation. Eventually support for a ban may be there when most people don’t have them
