Many here were thoroughly convinced a 19yo named Big Balls was going to solve our complex financial woes.

Of course they believed this, too.

I think it is actually a smart move in the grand scheme of things. The statute of limitations has expired on many of the criminals, a lot of evidence was destroyed, and the media would use the criminal cases to help defeat republicans across the country in the same way that it galvanized support for Trump when he was indicted.

I still think there are people in the admin hell bent on getting indictments and the DOJ will ultimately engage in foolishness.

I think the backup-cope plan is when it's thrown out, they'll claim lawfare, although the theory that adults will step in before malarkey ensues and the take the higher road and say "we didn't want to promote lawfare" is an option I suppose.

I voted for him. He is allowing the criminals to walk. The very ones that stole the 2020 election and thereby creating the most horrific Presidential admin this country has ever seen are the ones Trump is letting get away with it.

Again. 1.5 years into a 4 year term. And there are Florida grand jury subpoenas issued to Brennan etc. Something will happen. I think they've been strategically waiting until after mid-terms because all this will be skyscreamed about by half of the voting population of this country and their favorite media propagandists will spin it as muh "Trump revenge," and "weaponizing government against his political enemies," and muh "dictator," which is more Democrat/TDS projection. That's what they did to HIM. He and this administration are just attempting to do what millions of those who voted for him in his second term wanted them to do... hold them accountable for their criminality and treason. Building solid cases takes time and he's up against an entire system/establishment that has circled the wagons to thwart it.

I'm not betting the farm that big power players will be served the justice we deserve them to be served, but I'm not completely giving up at 1.5 years into a four year term either when there are still things in the works.

Laugh but am I wrong? What did Biden's lawfare do to the country during the four years he was in office?

Uh, it's not going to stop with Biden. It's going to start again when the next leftist gets in. Lawfare is like nuclear arms... the only way to quell it is the promise of mutually assured destruction.

Hell you have democrats already promising more damn impeachments if they win the houses of Congress.

Because the cabal is bigger than 1 man. Despite all the cult bs we hear, DC is rotten to the core.

Trump knows this.

First of all, you're wrong. Secondly, it isn't Trump's job to prosecute anyone.

So I would ask you, how does it feel to know you make stupid threads?

Predictable Rome proved it time and time again.
If you provide bread and circuses, the people, especially the simple folk, will be distracted. Today it's political theater presented the same EXACT way wrasslin' is, and its worked on a generation of wrasslin' fans who think of themselves as educated political commentators on message boards

It's probably for the best.

Lawfare establishes a dangerous precedent that could end up hurting the unity of the country right before what is very likely to be a contentious presidential election. How can there be peace when all you want is revenge?

While I disagree with you, I think your argument is legitimate and carries weight.

There’s a very fine line here, and the future of our republic is literally at stake. On one hand, holding corruption and partisan seditious actions accountable to the law is an absolute necessity for the legitimacy of a republic. On the other hand, all sides of the political divide must have confidence that the government is acting justly.

I don’t know if there is an easy answer, but my personal opinion is that those in power must speak and act in a legitimate and forthright manner, clinging on to truth, pursuing justice where appropriate, and ALSO being merciful where possible.

It’s not unlike a family that is divided. At some point, a father needs to forgive the misdeeds of his son, a sister needs to build trust with her sister, a mother needs to foget the harsh words of a son, etc.

Trump needs to look for and embrace any mea culpa given by the leaders of the left, while also holding them accountable in a significant but not overly harsh way. We need to be willing to embrace those on the left when they show a willingness to come back to the center.

So the democrats running around saying hes going on a revenge tour were lying?

The funny part is I feel like some of you voted for Trump because of the democrats lies. Like Trump being an isolationist, that was a negative placed upon him by lying democrats. If you believed Trump was an isolationist, you just believed democrats.
