Even if they are coming directly to the US, they still should be subject to legal and normal arrest, prosecution and sentencing. Make no mistake, they are drug dealers. If you agree with destroying these boats, then why not immediately kill any street corner drug dealer in any US city? Sorry, but if you agree with destroying these boats, you are really not much of an American.

So cartels chopping off heads and limbs and presenting them in a public space isn't terrorism?
Are they doing this with Americans?
Further, the public nature and display of cartel atrocities sends a message far beyond those directly impacted. It is the essence of terrorism, and potentially impacts anyone with a Computer or TV screen.
E.g., In a different vein, would you contend the Charlie Hebdo attack just impacted Paris?

That is certainly not the question presented on this forum by those posters who are concerned about this policy of turning their boats into flotsam.
The concern is about the constitutionality of American actions. Some of us think that the US government should follow our own laws.

You’re suffering from MAGA fatigue? Call it what it is. You are suffering from TDS. It is openly on display daily and the entire board sees it.
Your sheer volume of posting against literally everything Trump does highlights your emotionality, yet you incessantly claim not to be emotional.
98% of this board has SFP fatigue by the way. You are the most predictable and fraudulent poster here.

That's fine, but that's not "America First". That's just copying the GWB playbook on the "War on Terror" which I thought MAGA opposed.

Like another poster stated..tell me you know nothing about boating without telling me.
You do the same. Those small boats are specifically built for speed and maneuverability in coastal areas, not for trans-oceanic smuggling on the high seas.

Is the Bahamas to South Florida some short distance and not on open seas?

It is open seas but you can make that run in a fast boat in 4 hours depending on your departure point. It’s not far in nautical miles.

This is the dumbest post I have ever read on this entire website, context included. Congratulations.

no, he passed it.

It's not that ridiculous. Do China and Russia (or any country for that matter) now have the ability to just declare anyone on the planet a "terrorist" such that the person(s) can be droned off another continent?

More importantly, for potential future behaviors that may or may not occur.

As they are not US citizens in international waters, and not flagged to any particular country, why drag them into the U.S. for that?
Let’s take ‘em to El Salvador for prosecution there if that is the case made for arrest and prosecution.
