I'm just venting some, and I know I'm preaching to the choir, but you get the gaslighters to out themselves. ALL THIS INFLATION IS NORMAL! CAN'T BE BLAMED ON DEMOCRATS!!!

We can't go ride the 4 wheelers down to the creek, eat ice cream, or have fun, 1/2 as much as we could, 2 years ago.
Russia
Too much privilege for you. Now, eat your beans.

Let her read this thread and tell her that people like boosie whatever are the reason this country is falling apart

Everytime my wife or I pay for something and make a comment of how much the prices have changed, without hesitation my 12 yo daughter says, “Thanks Joe Biden”! I’m doing my part.

That link I posted about the dems/swamps theme of calling Trump a bully racist liar and so on; shows me the gas lighting was NKorea like and will never stop.

Always comes into threads like this to white knight for Brandon/the left by saying shite like this. This is just a deflection technique.

When my husband was laid off many years ago, we made games.
We collected coins lying around the house, and we'd get treats with those coins.
We would look at events around the area that were free. There were a lot. Lots of parks had free events from stargazing to learning about Indian lifestyle to free farms.
Back then, there was a cheap movie theater and we had a coupon for popcorn. Don't think I'd do that these days.
We went camping nearby.
It only lasted one summer, but it ended up being one of our better summers.
My kids learned you could still have fun and not spend lots of money. It's a good lesson to learn.

Just tell her daddy is a loser who needs to get a better job.
I’m a single income person, and just last week took my grand kids for ice cream and Chuck E. Cheese in the same day. Get a better job.

You tell her what we all need to hear when we are kids. The Government is corrupt and life is not fair. Figure out a way to be happy.

Use it as a teaching opportunity on how voting matters and that nothing is free.

I hope she tells you to get a part time job to make that extra $100 a month to cover a couple of trips to HL, buy that extra gallon of ice cream, and the extra gas for a 4 wheeler trip. I might understand if you posted a trip to DW or some other high dollar outing. But what you mention is doable on your budget--unless you were living paycheck to paycheck.

if you even have to explain this to a 6 year old, you've failed as a parent. let me guess.......if she doesn't like what you cook for supper that you'll do your best to cook/buy what she wants? toughen up. this is the problem with the entire country. pussies.

No, I’m just a person who doesn’t blame the government for everything.
I thought the republicans were the party of personal responsibility, especially when it comes to the earning potential of the poor folks.

You start reading TUTTLE TWINS to them and subscribe to the kids shows on the Daily Wire - my daughters were raised knowing the actual history of the country and also to know actions have consequences…. It’s very difficult to raise kids in this world and I’m sorry to see the realities of our horrific choices as a country have started to affect what you do with your kids - but it needs to be an important lesson on life - from what you posted I’d venture out o say that you are a very involved parent who loves their kids more than anything - just use it as a teaching moment so they understand the why here

It stings a little bit but you have to live your life. We are driving to South Carolina next week for vacation, it is what it is, we aren’t going to stop what we are doing.
