Texas, Georgia, Florida, and even Tennessee are closer than you think. Decades of Illegal Immigration has consequences. Ronald Reagan started this mess.

Totally disagree on Tennessee. The most popular reach across the aisle former governor of Tennessee lost bad to Marsha Blackburn, who had never been a candidate in a state wide race before. If Bredesen couldn’t win, no Democrat is.

Check back in like 15 years.

Pretty sure this is what people in Southwest Virginia thought.

The Austin, DFW, and Houston metros are home to over 50% of the Texas population (17M out of 28M, rough estimate).

Remember, 1 city alone controls the entire state of Illinois. Same with New York. Very soon, 3 cities will control Texas.

Yep. It’s not the urban areas anymore. They are winning the suburbs.

You sure? Cruz and Beto was pretty dang close. The Dems sole goal is to turn Texas blue with all of the illegal voting push and the protection of the illegal immigrant.

Once Texas is blue its game over for America.

Give it another generation of mass illegal immigration and I’d say it will be close to the tipping point

Houston metros

Houston proper is 2.2 million people.

The woodlands- houston- sugar land economic area is 6 million.

And those suburbs are predominantly red.

That electoral map is all fine and good in the surface.

But what are the population numbers of the red and blue areas.

Hell California’s electoral map was almost entirely red but Hillary still won by something like 2 million votes.

Very close. Children in Texas are 50% Hispanic/Latin. 33% are white. 17% are black/Asian/ Arab etc

Not as close as the liberals want to believe because of Beto. Look at the election for Governor. Ted Cruz is somewhat polarizing and the close election wasn’t that accurate of a reflection. That being said, there is no doubt it’s changing.

Purple in 2020. Solid blue by 2024. The GOP as a national party won’t be viable much longer as America is barreling toward being minority white.

It’s over.

Id like to think a percentage of each of those percentages consist of conservative minded folks who've gone thru the proper channels, super hard workers who have a great deal of pride in what has taken them a while to accomplish, and know patronizing when they see it. There's more hispanic Trump voters than the left care to admit.

They are definitely winning the suburbs. Beto took Hays and Williamson counties (Austin) and Fort Bend County (Houston).

He also took the urban county in which Ft. Worth is located (Tarrant).

Look for Denton, Collin and Montgomery counties to soon succumb to white guilt, too.

At that point, it's over.

Austin is not what I would worry about. The Mexican/Latino and African American groups are heavy democrat. As those groups rise in TX then the balance will tip.

Greg Abbott just beat a female Latino in the governor race. He received 40% of the Latino vote and 19% AA vote. Any GOP gets that type of pull from minorities then it’s a most assured victory.
