Hey, here’s the plan. Stop calling it global warming and call it climate change. Then we can never lose an argument.

If It's record hot, its proof of anthropogenic global warming

The climate of Earth has been changing from hot to cold and back again for billions of years. And will for billions of more years long after humans have vanished. We are just arrogant enough to think we really matter in the big scheme of things.

Yep. After adjustments, the 77 degrees recorded last year is actually 67. You science deniers need to burn your houses down and live in caves if you ever want to survive!

I cringe, no I recoil, each time an emotional, non-scientific utterance is spouted out to try to refute proven scientific truth.

Let me explain again:

1) Atmospheric CO2 levels have been increasing steadily over the past 200 years (especially in the last 50 years).

2) Postulate 1) is a result of human activity since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution.

3) CO2 levels are directly proportional to atmospheric, and thus terrestrial heating.

4) The trend globally is steadily increasing temperatures. Of course air mass shifts will result in periods of abnormal cold, but the overall shift in temps across the globe is up, up, up. Let's talk about Western Europe's record breaking hot summer in 2018 while we're discussing science.
