This whole Ukraine thing is a shitshow of the highest order. Why Trump is even worried about the goings on in that place is a colossal waste of time. Who gives a flying frick about Hunter Biden being on that board.....you don't have to be competent, to do these things. Yeah Joe was probably trying to protect him....but why did Trump have to worry about Ukraine vis a vis Mueller.....he won. The Democrats had their asses handed to them.
Not seeing from this anything criminal .....I am seeing ghost chasing. What's so damned important about Ukraine. It's a shitty mal developed country with crooked leaders who are overall inept in their crookedness.....it's also flat as hell.

It was the breeding ground where Hillary/DNC got a lot of misinformation against Trump, as well as dirt against Biden.
It is also where Steele gathered a lot of his "intel" for his dossier.
Taylor might as well be reading a Rachel Maddow opening monologue in much of his opening statement. He was not on the infamous call and has no first hand knowledge of the "investigations" or any direct dealings with Trump.
Taylor does have a lot of "concerns" however, a word that he managed to fit in every other sentence.

It's a good point. He's been trying to back-channel Ukraine diplomacy since he got in the door, before really if you count Manafort slipping polling to Kilimnik in '16 and Peter Smith reaching out to Ukrainian hackrz.

I understand all of that, but from a strategic point why even discuss this shite? I mean Mueller came in and basically torpedoed himself a week or so before and Trump had essentially won and the threat of Barr and Durham was enough to keep the Democrats to hang back and bitch among themselves.
I mean there was no Russia collusion and the Ukraine thing was always a Hail Mary insurance policy so why use it when there are 50 seconds left in the game you have the ball and you are up by 8 and your opponent has 1 T.O left and 80 yards to go?

Trump has the Democrats laser focused on Ukraine. Meanwhile, Barr has made unannounced trips to Italy (twice if I am not mistaken). Perhaps this is an expertly implemented play through misdirection. Honestly, the Dems/MSM hate him so much, that he can totally dictate the news cycle (and seemingly...the focus of Congress) with just a tweet.
