We (Potatus and crew) also held the Saudis and allies back. Just another in a pile of bad decisions and bad policy.

As I see it we really have only a few options:
1. Destroy Iran's capability to wage war and defend itself to the best extent possible. Along with this we would need to freeze their access to all funds as well as put a naval blockade into place to cripple them.
2. Reignite the conflict between Iran and Iraq (which may well ignite on its own) so that they end up having to focus enough of their resources on fighting their own war to continue funding others (at least to the level they have been).
3. Some combination of 1 & 2.

This the only answer, Sunni (Saudi) has the best weapons from us that money can buy. Why don't they crush the Houthis? Because they have our warmongers eager to spend money and lives, so all they have to do is wait and the self appointed policeman of the world will show up.

You are correct and part of the majority of all Americans.
12% of world trade goes thru there, only 12%.
Of that 12%, 40% is trade between Europe and Asia.
People and countries never step up if they have a sucker to do their work for them.

They aren't, it's all a distraction. Have you seen the video of the houthis landing a helicopter and taking over a ship? Now do you believe that video was made by the poorest country in that area and they have helicopters and soldiers trained like that?
