One of the Bush Royal family is looking to run for Congress in a district he doesn't even live in. Can't we get rid of this family?

"Pierce Bush, the grandson of former president George H.W. Bush, is running as a Republican for the 22nd Congressional District, he said in a phone interview Monday.

Bush, CEO of the nonprofit Big Brothers Big Sisters Lone Star, joins a crowded GOP primary field seeking the nomination to succeed U.S. Rep. Pete Olson, a Sugar Land Republican who is not seeking re-election.

Asked how he would distinguish himself among a packed primary field, Bush said he would emphasize his work at the Big Brothers Big Sisters affiliate, which provides youth mentoring services. He also downplayed the importance of his family name.

The district has become increasingly diverse and in 2018 went to Olson by about 5 percentage points. Bush said it would be important for the GOP nominee to appeal to a broad swath of the district’s constituents.

Bush, asked about the residency questions, said he and his wife plan to move into the district.

We are actively looking for a place to live, and again, I couldn't imagine a better community that represents what's best about this country,” Bush said.

Congressional candidates are not required by law to live in their districts, though they must live in the state they represent.

This needs to be changed. Maxine Waters's district is war torn Inglewood, but she lives in the luxurious part of LA with all the political bribe money she makes.

Ann Kirkpatrick who took Martha "I was in the Air Force so vote for me" McSally's district doesn't even live there and previously was the Rep for a neighboring district.

Its all BS.

His daddy is Neil (Pierce is Barbara Bush’s maiden name).

You Aggies might get a laugh at Pierce fratting it up at UT Austin (click for pics with famous drag queen Leslie).

Dorothy Bush's son was an ATO at South Carolina when I was there. Their house was one house down from the Kappa Sig house where I lived. He was a good guy.

Can states require it? Or must it be a Federal law?

Wasn't there some stink about M Landrieu's residency?

We need strong conservatives to run for congressional seats that are not beholden to handlers or connected to the cabal. I say again, these guys are clowns. It's highly possible to defeat them all. We can't just sit back and expect things to get better. We need to push the great awakening and they sure as shite are not a part of that.

Neil Bush.

A total frick up and a moron.

He’s just like Hunter Biden.

Neil was put in charge of federal savings and loan by Daddy Bush and their cronies, a position for which he was wholly unqualified to do. He proceeded to run it into the ground, forcing a government bailout of more than $1B.

He was also documented for his contracting of Asian prostitutes in his divorce. He routinely began startups with seed money from Middle Eastern Royal families, particularly the Saudis, then proceeded to engage in US government contracts.

I work for Apple as a lawyer, primarily in the education and emerging markets areas. I cannot tell you how much absolute worthless crap Neil Bush has sold to the US Dept Of Education and schools all over the country through his company called Ignite! Millions and millions of dollars for worthless crap.

Now his son is running for Congress.

Yep and if you think he was at all control of the levers of that company you'd be a fool. He's a salesman, a pusher. He's a great enabler and subverter, a predator who preys on children's minds. To sit back and allow this parasite the ability to cultivate power would be to sit back and let evil reign. Good men of Texas must respond. You don't even have to live in the district. He sure as shite doesn't. It's time to call a spade a spade and fight back. We are not weak and truth is more powerful.
Thankfully one can point to the subversive nature of his company to illustrate the point. It is no longer enough to just talk about it among your friends, family and on here. Action must be taken and a strong counter argument must be heard to the masses.
Sadly, we are conditioned to accept and trust branding. It's time to break the cycle and show that we are better than that. So get angry, get involved, be loud and proud. Truth is on our side. This is a battle for the minds of our youth. If we do nothing, remain huddled in our protected confines of message boards and close friends, fearful of the boat rocking too far, we are lost and have lost. frick that family and all they stood for, New World Order Evil Incarnate.

You are correct sire = I came of age in the late 40s and early 50's - I can still remember my saintly mother saying = "if they put it in the newspapers, it has to be true."

That idea stuck with me thru the mid 60's. Even though I broke from a Democrat devoted family to vote for Nixon in '60, I still had no quarrel with newspaper reports and the nightly news. I was too involved in my fledgling work to pay that much attention to politics.

I hated LBJ, based not on politics at the time, but as a legacy from my grandfather who was adamantly anti-LBJ and routinely told us about his loose moral being and 'political suicides' that had paved his way to power in his early Texas career.

BUT - I supported LBJ during the Vietnam war, because I could not believe that even an evil man like LBJ could actually lie to us about national security.

I stuck with "trust the media' until after the Nixon impeachment. At the time Nixon and Goldwater were my standards of excellence in political matters.

Not until I saw the abject hatred and bias from the media during the Reagan years did I awaken to the problem - they were a PROPAGANDA arm of the DEMOCRAT party.

I consider myself a fairly good observer of the political landscape, but it had never occurred to me to question the BIAS behind the information I was basing my beliefs on.

NOW - I see that I was a political idiot for the first half of my life - and that I should have set my hair on fire decades ago.

It is time to get in the faces of anyone who supports this abysmal dystopia being forced down out throats.

I have completely turned on the Bush's - they are part of the New World Order = a recipe for the destruction of American excellence.
